In Q1 2024, the performance of the top 5 dining and restaurant apps on iOS in Qatar revealed interesting trends in downloads and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower.

KFC Qatar saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Initially, the app experienced a steady range of 700 to 800 downloads per week, peaking at 1K downloads in the week of February 12. However, the numbers dipped towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to around 544 in the last week of March.

McDonald’s - Non-US also experienced variable download numbers throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from 600 to 700, with a peak of 784 in the week of February 12. Active users showed a gradual decline from 11.5K in early January to approximately 10.3K by the end of March.

Hardee's Qatar demonstrated a notable spike in downloads. Starting from a modest 196 downloads in early January, the app saw a significant jump to 1.7K downloads in the week of March 4. The numbers then stabilized around 200 to 300 downloads per week towards the end of the quarter.

More Cravings had relatively stable download numbers in the first two months, ranging from 140 to 180 downloads per week. However, the app experienced a surge in March, reaching 871 downloads in the final week of the quarter.

Papa Johns Qatar showed a consistent increase in downloads from late January, starting at 184 and peaking at 592 in the week of February 26. Despite a slight dip in early March, the app maintained a solid performance with 316 downloads in the last week of March.
